hey you there? I hate to be a nuisance but I am really hoping you have some good news re: the house. I know i have been checking in a lot lately but i can’t stress the fact that my financal situation would be weighing less on me if I knew the house is on its way to being sold this year
I realize you are making your best effort but its coming up on the holidays and things here are a little tight. I have already increased my loan from my parents not long ago and with my promotion coming in Feb. I could use the sale going on this year’s taxes

I have no control over what is going on with the house. It’s at a fair price, kept clean and it’s shown to everyone who wants to see it whenever they want to see it. I can’t make any promises about anything. If I were you, I wouldn’t rely on it selling.I don’t think Bobby’s wife is the issue. As you can see, there are a lot of houses in the little neighborhood loop that are for sale, most more expensive ($/Sq.Ft.). She’s had an open house every 2 months and has kept it as well advertised as can be expected.
If you are absolutely desperate for it, we can drop the price, but I won’t unless we re-negotiate our agreement (which was based on the house selling for $200k).
Here’s the other houses in the neighborhood in the MLS, I believe there are 2 that are for sale by owner that aren’t listed.

Uh, no. I am not willing to renegotiate. Do what you have to do, I understand you are keeping me in the loop as much as you can. What I am not understanding is with the price, the condition and the fact that the area is developing why she can’t seem to get it sold. My mom’s old house has had more prospects than yours already.
I am just trying to get this done this tax year, that’s all. I am going to rely on receiving something wheither it’s based on the house selling at some point, you refinancing it, or starting a payment plan with me. I am not walking away from the settlement. I am just getting impatient with waiting for this to wrap up as I am sure you are.Thanks for your understanding,

Despite the fact that showings slowed down a little last month, we had 1 last week, 1 the week before and I believe they will pick up again.Frankly, I’m a bit confused. It seem like it wasn’t all that long ago that you were encouraging me to wait until the market picks back up.
The short and skinny of it is that I’m doing everything that I know to do, it’ll take as long as it takes and your financial situation isn’t my fault. If you think there’s something I could be doing that I’m not, I’m open to suggestions.
She responds in email:
Yes, I was encouraging you to wait until the development is done. However, it was a lot further along than I even knew at the time, and there are new houses going up just north of Chase’s Ridge that I wasn’t aware of.
No, my financial situation isn’t your fault. I wasn’t saying that it was either. However now that I think about it, I wouldn’t say that I would be in this spot totally without you’re help, so lets just leave that alone, what do you think?
I feel you should consider a realtor with a nationally known agency for that house. McKinney probably doesn’t have the contacts with the college parents outside of Tallahassee who may be looking for an investment while their kids are in school. Just an idea.Thank you,
